TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to IV HAUS. These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities, and conditions under which we deliver mobile IV infusion and wellness services across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

By booking an appointment with IV HAUS, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, and acknowledge your responsibility to provide accurate information and follow all clinical and safety instructions provided by our practitioners.

1. Eligibility for Treatment

To ensure safety and compliance, the following eligibility requirements apply:

  • You must be 18 years or older.

  • You must have the capacity to provide informed consent.

  • Valid identification may be requested at any time.

  • IV HAUS reserves the right to decline or postpone a service if you appear:

    • Intoxicated or under the influence of drugs

    • Medically unstable

    • Unable to provide informed consent

    • In an environment deemed unsafe for treatment

Treatment will not proceed where these conditions are not met.

2. Medical Clearance & Clinical Consent

For your safety and compliance with prescribing regulations:

  • All first-time clients require:

    • A completed health waiver

    • A script consultation with a prescribing practitioner (Fee: $50)

  • Scripts remain valid for 12 months, subject to changes in your health status.

  • Treatment will only proceed once all documentation is submitted and approved.

  • Your practitioner may decline certain infusions based on clinical appropriateness or safety considerations.

3. Booking, Fees & Payment Terms

3.1 Booking Methods

Appointments may be made via:

  • Our website

  • Phone

  • SMS

  • Social media or direct message

3.2 Payment Requirements

  • Payment is due at the time of treatment, unless approved otherwise.

  • Accepted payment methods: Card, bank transfer, cash.

  • First-time clients must pay the $50 script fee prior to confirmation.

3.3 Travel Fees & Surcharges

  • Travel fees apply based on distance and will be disclosed at the time of booking.

  • A 10% surcharge applies to all services performed on Sundays and public holidays.

3.4 Card Authorisation

By booking with IV HAUS, you authorise us to charge your nominated card for:

  • Treatments

  • Script fees

  • Travel fees

  • Cancellation fees

  • Extended session fees

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, card error, or connectivity issues, IV HAUS may reattempt the charge for up to three business days. Outstanding balances may be pursued through appropriate recovery channels.

4. Risks, Complications & Acknowledgement

IV therapy is generally low-risk when administered by qualified clinicians, but all medical procedures carry potential complications.

By consenting to treatment, you acknowledge the following potential risks:

Occasional:

  • Bruising, discomfort, localised pain at the insertion site

Rare:

  • Phlebitis

  • Fluid overload

  • Extravasation

  • Flare reactions

  • Cellulitis or infection

  • Metabolic disturbances

  • Air embolism

Extremely Rare:

  • Severe allergic reaction

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Cardiac arrest

  • Death

Your nurse will assess your suitability prior to the infusion, but final responsibility for disclosure of medical information lies with you.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

We value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling:

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: No fee

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: $100 cancellation fee

  • Less than 1 hour’s notice or no-show: $200 cancellation fee

6. Service Area & Travel Fees

IV HAUS operates from Brisbane, Queensland. Travel fees apply as follows:

  • Within 45 minutes: $90

  • Within 60 minutes: $120

  • Within 75 minutes: $150

  • Within 90 minutes: $180

Travel fees become non-refundable once travel has commenced.

Clients are encouraged to confirm travel costs prior to booking.

7. Infusion Duration & Extended Session Fees

Most IV infusions take up to 60 minutes.

  • For infusions exceeding 90 minutes, an extended session fee of $50 per additional hour will apply.

  • NAD+ infusions may require slower administration; duration is determined by your practitioner’s clinical judgement.

8. Client Health Disclosure Requirements

You must disclose any known:

  • Medical conditions

  • Current medications

  • Past or current illnesses

  • Allergies or sensitivities

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

Disclosure must occur:

  • During booking

  • On consent forms

  • Directly to your treating nurse

Failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation upon arrival, with 100% of the service fee charged.

9. Client Responsibilities

By booking with IV HAUS, you agree that:

  • Your home, hotel, or treatment space is clean, safe, and suitable for clinical care.

  • You will follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

  • IV therapy is a wellness adjunct and does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

  • You will seek medical attention immediately if adverse symptoms occur after your appointment.

10. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

IV HAUS reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:

  • You have not completed required medical documentation

  • You have not paid applicable fees

  • You appear intoxicated, aggressive, or unsafe

  • Your environment poses a risk to staff

  • You provide false or incomplete medical information

No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • IV HAUS, its contractors, clinicians, and representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • You acknowledge that outcomes may vary and results are not guaranteed.

  • IV HAUS is not liable for complications arising from omitted or inaccurate medical disclosures.

  • Your use of IV HAUS services is at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under Queensland or Australian consumer law.

12. Service Modifications

We may amend, delay, or substitute services when necessary due to:

  • Product supply issues

  • Nurse availability

  • Environmental concerns

  • Scheduling constraints

You will be notified promptly should any changes occur.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Queensland.
